The world uncertain of tomorrow sparkles with many colors. Matter breaks down into primary colors and resounds with a colorful glow. It is sticky, slippery and moist. The new tissue, like mycelium, grows and annexes whatever it encounters on its way. It is constantly sticky, slippery and damp. Clouds, like cotton candy, stretch over this circus and encourage you to grow. IN FUTURE WE TRUST! One would like to scream. A completely new reality is to be better, to be unrestricted and uninterrupted creation. The basic components of our reality will survive the worst cataclysms and will constantly bring new products to life. “

The Melting reality exhibition is a presentation of paintings, photographs and installations by Krzysztof Marchlak, which arose out of fear for the future and hope for a better tomorrow. However, this is not a terrifying vision like in futuristic films about the extermination, but a fairy tale about the infinite energy and fertility of the world. At the exhibition, the processed, human reality present in the artist’s photographs will meet with a created and devoid of human presence, a pictorial narrative about a world without people. The whole will be combined with objects and spatial installations that will enter into dialogue with the space and other works.
The exhibition is the artist’s first individual exhibition in two years, and the first presentation of his work, where all areas of his activity meet. A comprehensive approach to the problem related to the subject of the future is thus combined with the variety of aesthetic experiences in the work of Krzysztof Marchlak.
