“For years, Konrad Krzyżanowski has been collecting images stored on disks and film reels, on Polaroid photos, and in his phone’s memory; and when he starts painting, memories come flooding back. Moments are reflected on the canvas: someone walks away, someone looks, someone takes melatonin before bed, someone runs, someone reads a book. Someone lies in bed, unable to fall asleep, images spinning in his head like a carousel, various moments piling up in his semi-consciousness and half-awareness.”
