Tara Abdullah (*1996) is a multidisciplinary artist who is currently based in Oslo as an artist in residence with Safemuse. Her work explores the relationship between the individual and society, focusing on identity, gender, memory, and social pressure. Drawing from her personal experiences and the context of Kurdistan, she creates powerful visual and spatial works that often combine strong materials, repetition, and symbolic forms. Through her practice, she reflects on themes of vulnerability, resistance, and transformation, inviting viewers to think about freedom, silence, and change.
